We stayed for 2 night and liked our stay. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and there where a fridge, coffee/tea making machines and a dining area in the room. It was magnificent by breathtaking mountains. Plus it was just off Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and the farm and Stellenbosch. Overall experience was such great!

The location of this place is absolutely mind-blowing! It is nestled in the heart of the Cape Winelands, surrounded by lush vineyards. The check-in process was a breeze and we felt safe and secure throughout our stay. Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making sure all our requests were met immediately. The furnishings in the cottage were so cozy and comfortable, it truly felt like a home away from home. We loved the great hiking trail that allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings. Being so close to Stellenbosch was a huge plus, as we got to experience even more of the wine region. And let's not forget the exquisite views from the wine cellar, they were absolutely jaw-dropping! our stay here was beyond amazing and we can't wait to come back. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Great views from the property and comfortable beds! the wine tasting experience was enjoyable as well. the location was convenient for exploring the surrounding wine estates.
It would have been helpful if the hotel had informed guests in advance and provided alternative lighting options. Another minor issue was the charging for the wine tasting on the last day, which seemed strange.

Amazing wine, beautiful location, and cozy cottage with all the comforts of home.
Nothing, maybe they could add a gas lighter to make lighting the stove and braai easier, but who needs that when you have fabulous wine?

I absolutely adored the charming decor and cozy atmosphere of Bartinney! The tasteful furnishings and beautiful surroundings made me feel right at home. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was exceptional, with well-maintained pathways and helpful staff to assist with any needs.
I would have loved to see more activities or entertainment options for senior guests. Perhaps some organized tours or recreational activities to keep us busy and engaged during our stay.

The Garden: Exploring the garden at this hotel was like stepping into a picturesque oasis. The vibrant colors and intoxicating scents transported me to a botanical wonderland that made me feel like Alice in Wonderland.
Inverter and Electric Hob: The only downside was the lack of an inverter and electric hob in the kitchen.
